EVE Online : Create a Starship Contest

This is my Battleship submission to the Starship competition.

This is now the FINAL version.

Well this looks like a Caldari Battleship. You can fit a full compliment of either guns and missiles launchers.. and has many bonuses like 100% increase to torp & cruise missile damage & 80% increase to shield hardeners etc. :)

I was worried that the Caldari had used all the bird of prey names but lucky there was a couple left.
Lammergeier - a huge bird , a vulture, and feeds mostly on dead animals and apparently it drops fresh carcass bones on rocky ground from on high to feed on the marrow =)

The name Lammergeier literally means 'Lamb Catcher'.

Anyway, I love the ship I've made (wish I could upload the sketchup file for the competition too, not because of detail but because its always better to see the whole thing than just shots :) I hope to see it in game.

Hmm i like it, and i'd deffinantly fly one. But i feel like CCP would have to rebalance the fitting and bonuses

Thanks, yeah more likely it would be nurfed quite a bit. I wish EVE Online allowed play created ships to enter the game (for a real $ fee of course!)

Ok so I've finished the VERY updated Lammergeier presentation for the new CCP contest. I don't see it yet on the website [link] but hopefully soon =)

I'm happy with the work but I'm not happy I didn't get to finish what I started on, that is a newer version of the Raven :( ...
