Nothing wrong with the Normandy, I tried to give it similar properties to the EVE Online PC game's Drake Battle Cruiser and it reminds me more of a Klingon K't'inga class Battle Cruiser
Though that changed recently with my entry into the RIFT contest (with results supposedly due in two weeks) - but I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out like the EVE one.
Good fortune with the RIFT contest!
CCP never really explained to me personally (or to anyone else that didn't get in, and there were some popular good ones that also were not chosen)why Lammergeier didn't get in to be judged...
Which is part of the problem since people were supposed to vote for what was good (to all that were submitted.. which many did show up for voting on) before CCP then decides whats the best of the ones picked by the general public :/.. of course this didn't happen but I really don't know why. It could of been a dodgy website uploading system, or dodgy judges whom stuffed up more so than DA did on the first competition (didn't think that was possible!!) or maybe they conducted the competition how they wanted to on the fly? who really knows..
I won't be joining any comps like this again.. its one thing to lose but to not even see your work to be judged officially makes it not worth the effort.
That is really irritating. To be honest, I heard a lot of bad things about this competition. Not many of the EVE players where happy with it, I heard.
I wouldn't judge all dA competitions on the basis of just this one... there are some sweet prizes, and you can really get your name out there. Not to mention they could be fun (if done right!).
Depending on what DA contest comes up... maybe I will change my mind
